Elizabeth A. York is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and nationally certified addictions counselor with Pathways Counseling Center. Pathways Counseling Center is a new division of First Health Care Group, LLC. Pathways provides quality outpatient addictions services for the adults in our community who may need assistance in addressing alcohol and other drug use. Chemical dependency and abusive use of alcohol, pain killers, and other drugs are in epidemic proportions in our community. Use of these drugs affects not only the one dependent on the drug but it also affects their families, friends, and co-workers. There are new medications to help with chemical dependency; success increases as the disorders are properly diagnosed and treated. With a confidential screening by trained professionals, dependency and co-occurring disorders such as depression and anxiety. The results of this screening will direct you to the proper opiate addiction and mental health programs. Our vision is to utilize the latest addiction research and treatment tools to help individuals and families achieve and maintain a clean and sober lifestyle.
